Scouts from Troop 2512 participated in the annual Food Drive held Wednesday,
December 14, 2011. The troop delivered a total of 58 pounds of food to
the Crowley Christian Care Center. Pictured, left to right, are:

Fuselier, Eulalie Cormier, and volunteer Dr. Craig Brammer.

Scout Troop 2512 were invited to attend the R & L Carriers New Orleans Bowl
to watch ULL play against San Diego, Saturday, December 17, 2011. The
troop spent the day in New Orleans walking around touring the "Big Easy,”
attended the pep rally held at Championship Square, then were escorted onto the
field of the Superdome to watch pre-game activities and led the National Anthem
prior to the start of the game. This was the first time these scouts
visited the Mercedes Benz Superdome and had the best time watching their team,
ULL, win the championship. Participating, left to right, are:

Troop 457
Troop 457 in Lake Charles conducted a food drive for Oak
Park Pantry at their school from November 1-15. It was extremely
successful. Oak Park Pantry made 3 trips to pick up food during those
dates. The picture attached shows the girls with a thank you card they
made for their school to say "thank you” for giving so generously.
Troop 218 has been busy since we formed as a new
Troop here in Natchitoches, LA this year (2011. Our Troop consists of 16 young ladies eager to be involved
in the community. Troop Leaders/Assistants include: Patricia Franks,
Donna Penrod, Candice Watkins, Tammy Hall, Micky Harper, Jamie Joines, Briana
Megee, Chasity Tousek and Scarlett Vascocu.

The first service project we participated in was collecting
food for the needy. This was done at one of our November meetings.
However, we forgot to snap a picture. The next thing we did was
participate in the Junior Parade on Christmas Festival Day. See
