Girl Scouts of Louisiana - Pines to the Gulf



Camp Indian Creek
Indian Creek is 125 wooded acres with a beautiful stream fed lake located near Chatham, Louisiana in Jackson Parish. Campers and conselors live close together on one of three sites, each having a bath-house with showers. Meals are served in a screened dining hall. Other facilities include a swimming pier, craft lodge, health center, riding arena, and achery range. The camp also has one unit of platform tents called Woodside.
 
Facilities at Camp Indian Creek
  • Hillside - 9 cabins with 36 beds, the long house with 12 beds, and the nurse's cabin with 3 beds, and open lodge that contains a restroom with 3 toilets and a double sink. A bath-house with 4 showers and 4 toilets.
  • Lakeside - 9 cabins with 36 beds, director's cabin with 2 beds, and a staff house with 2 beds, Bath-house with 4 showers, 3 sinks, and 3 toilets. The dining hall, and pavilion
  • Woodside - 3 platform tents with 18 beds, bath-house with 2 showers, 2 sinks, and 2 toilets.
